I started Sunshine and Shenanigans about 6 years ago, selling peg doll cake toppers. I didn’t really start seriously until 2020 – when we were all hit by the first lockdown. I suddenly had some time on my hands, and the need to try and earn some money! Loads of the half started ideas, or the paintings I’d done for family and friends were finally given some more time and effort, and I started selling on my Etsy store.
My main inspiration is nature, and I have really enjoyed the full moon series. This took me over a year, painting a moon every month, before I re-did the whole series ready for the calendar. I also love pagan and Celtic influences, which you can see in my work. I like painting with watercolour, and calligraphy and hand lettering, but I am always trying new things!
I will keep adding pieces to the store as they get finished. At the moment, I have calendars, wall planners and a range of prints (which can be personalised) and cards. I am always happy to do custom orders, and bespoke pieces of art. Contact me using the form on the contact page, or through Etsy for more details.
